HATHA YOGA COURSE
50-hrs online on ZOOM
This 3-weekend fundamental course of traditional and modern HATHA YOGA is suitable for all-level students. You can take it for just your personal practice and growth, or you can make it a part of your 200-Yoga Teacher Training Course or a Continuing Education Program (50-hours).
3 weekends of January, starting on the 8th.

Hatha Yoga is the oldest known branch of yoga, and includes not only physical poses (asanas), but also breathing exercises and meditation techniques, so that you can control the body & mind, and keep them in a good health.
Hatha Yoga is practiced mostly in a slow and static way, but modern practices of hatha yoga can include a slow flow.
THE SYLLABUS OF THE COURSE:
Asana – foundational hatha yoga poses, their benefits and contraindications, daily hatha sessions, including traditional hatha, Sivananda, life-cycle practice, modern hatha & hatha flow
Alignment and modifications
Cueing and communication for yoga teachers
Sequencing and the art of creating a safe yoga class
Pranayama – breathing techniques as per the traditional hatha yoga texts
Yoga Philosophy – foundations: Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Ashtanga Yoga (8limbs)
Yoga Science – Pancha Kosha, Prana, Bandhas, Mudras, traditional sequencing
Meditation & mindfulness – practice and theory
Anatomy: introduction, skeletal, muscular and respiratory systems, basic bio-mechanics of the body
Traditional Yogic Anatomy: Chakras & Nadis
Regular teaching practice and mentoring
Daily schedule (SAT & SUN)
* All mentioned hours are in CEST (e.g. Berlin, Paris)
* All classes are guided live on ZOOM, but you will get an access to the recordings if you cannot participate in a class personally
8.00 - 9.30 - Asana Practice
10.00 - 13.00 - Lectures & Workshops (anatomy, philosophy, teaching methodology)
14.00 - 15.00 - Lecture
15.15 - 16.30 - Asana Practice
