YIN YOGA TTC
(100, 200 & 300 HOURS) IN FRANCE

YIN

YOGA IN FRANCE

A complete and comprehensive Yin Yoga program combining Yin theory, practice and philosophy with Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda.

The course includes solid functional anatomy foundations and the physiology of the nervous system, exceptionally important in the context of a yoga practice. The full program allows you to understand therapeutic, meditative and functional aspects of Yin Yoga.

The program is divided in 3 modules - you can take them together, or choose one that you like.

Dates

Module 1: 25 - 31 October 2021

Module 2: 24 - 30 January 2022

Module 3: 28 March - 3 April 2022

Place

La Joncasse - Haute

Marie-Claude Gasc, 31460 Caraman, France

The entire program designed by me and Bruna Pons - the TCM Therapist from Spain is focused on the holistic power of Yin Yoga and assisting tools.

All three modules refer to the therapeutic Yin Yoga, 5 Elements & Myofascial Release (MFR), but they have different accents in every part. You can take 1, 2 or all 3 in any order you feel like.

Yin Yoga TTC  consists of three separate modules.

Each of them forms a 6-day in-person program + self studies & homework (in order to achieve 100 hours TTC certificate), and all three modules together create a comprehensive and deep 300-hour Yin Yoga TTC that will train you in:

  • Yin Yoga techniques and practice - yin poses, sequencing, and art of teaching

  • Functional Anatomy and Fascia

  • Traditional Chinese Medicine (Meridian Yoga, Elemental Yoga and Acupressure Points Yoga/‘Acu-yoga’)

  • Meditation and Relaxation Techniques (Myofascial Release, Yoga Nidra, Pranayama, Basics of Massage, Sound Healing)

  • Restorative Yoga and Yoga for Stress Relief, Yoga for Health Support

You can participate in each 100-hour module separately, or if you wish to get a 300-hour Yoga Alliance Certificate, you can choose to participate in three modules together (300 TTC).

For your best benefits, we put modules in a certain order, but you can choose to participate in them in a different configuration.

Each module can give you 100 hours of CEP (Continuing Education Program) if you are already RYT 200 or RYT 500.

About Yin Yoga

During the last few years, Yin Yoga became one of the most popular yoga styles. Perhaps our everyday ‘Yang’ lifestyle makes us so exhausted that we naturally need to get more “yin-side”. Yin is a great answer to counterbalance the intensity of our contemporary times. It is nourishment for our parasympathetic nervous system, and a deeply healing, meditative practice.

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with set asanas that are ‘held’ for longer periods of time (usually five minutes and longer), which allows us to apply gentle pressure and compression on our tissues. The whole point of Yin practice is to relax the muscles as much as possible, to target the deeper connective tissues - especially fascia, our “spiderweb".

Yin Yoga is based on TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), and therefore works in tandem with meridians and acupressure points targeting our vital organs and balancing the 5 Elements: Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and Metal.

Yin Yoga brings our focus more inwards, and can be an excellent bridge towards meditation, or can become meditation itself.

This course is registered with the Yoga Alliance
